Patent Protection & Registration

Patents grant property rights on new and useful inventions, allowing the patent holder to prevent others from using, making, or selling that invention without permission for a limited time. U.S. patents are permitted by the U.S. Constitution and are designed to promote scientific progress and invention. By allowing inventors to profit from licensing or selling their patent rights, inventors can recoup their research and development costs and benefit financially from their inventing efforts. There are three main types of patents utility, plant, and design. Utility and plant patents can last up to 20 years, while design patents can last up to 15 years. When a patent expires, the patented material enters the public domain, making it free to use by anyone without a license. U.S. patents are issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)

U.S. Patent No. 12,637,554 entitled “High Impermeability Innerliner Compound and Method for the Production Thereof” issued May 26, 2026 to Bridgestone Europe NV/SA [BE/BE] of Zaventem, Belgium. Invented by Paolo Fiorenza and Gianpaolo Chieffi both of Rome, Italy. Abstract: Method for the manufacture of the innerliner compound comprising: —a first mixing step wherein at least one cross-linkable unsaturated chain polymeric base and one filler system are mixed together; —a final mixing step wherein a vulcanization system is added and mixed with the mixture deriving from an earlier mixing step; and —an intermediate mixing step, interposed between said first mixing step and the final mixing step, and wherein lignin is added and mixed into the mixture deriving from a previous mixing step.

U.S. Patent No. 12,636,658 entitled “Method of Setting an Operating Condition of at Least One Mobile Mineral Machining Plant” issued May 26, 2026 to Kleemann GmbH, Goppingen. Invented by Tobias Bockle of Weinstadt, Germany, Tobias Kloss of Bad Gronenbach, Germany, Frank Lebender of Gruibingen, Germany and Thomas Kuhnle of Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany. Abstract: The invention relates to a method for setting an operating state of at least one mobile mineral machining plant, in particular a mobile mineral material crusher (10), wherein a processing device (100) is provided, to which an input unit (90) is assigned, wherein at least one characteristic material value of the feed material (KM) to be machined is entered into the input unit (90), wherein at least one characteristic material value (KE) of at least one end material to be produced using the mineral machining plant is entered into the input unit (90), wherein a target machine parameter (SP) or a target machine parameter set containing several target machine parameters (SP) is generated in the processing device (100), taking into account the characteristic material value of the feed material (KM) to be machined and the characteristic material value of the end material (KE) to be produced, and wherein the at least one target machine parameter (SP) or the target machine parameter set is transferred to a control device (130) of the mineral machining plant and/or displayed on a display device. Such a process significantly facilitates adapting the mineral machining plant to changing crushing tasks for a machine operator.

U.S. Patent No. 12,638,085 entitled “Mounting Structure having Direction-ependent Resilient Properties for Mounting a Device with a Rotor” issued May 26, 2026 to Sebastian Henne of Goettingen, Germany. Also invented by Sebastian Henne. Abstract: A mounting structure is provided for mounting a device comprising at least one mounting shield, a pivot bearing arranged in the mounting shield and a rotor mounted in the pivot bearing and having an axis of rotation. The mounting structure has resilient properties that are dependent on directions perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotor.
