Federal Circuit Win for Patterson Intellectual Property Law Litigation Team

1.24.22

Congratulations to Patterson shareholders Edward Lanquist and Seth Ogden, associates Mark Kilgore and Nathan North, paralegal Caitlin Carter, and the entire Patterson litigation team for their recent patent dispute win for our client, Procon Analytics, LLC, at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.  In the Federal Circuit decision, Procon Analytics, LLC, v. Spireon, Inc., the Patterson litigation team successfully defended Spireon’s attempt to overturn the district court’s decision that found Spireon, Inc.’s patent invalid under 35 U.S.C. 101 as directed to patent ineligible subject matter and dismissed their claims with prejudice. The Federal Circuit affirmed by Rule 36, thus no opinion will be drafted. Congratulations Patterson Intellectual Property Law litigation team for another win at the Federal Circuit.
